Schedules of Indian Constitution – Brief

In the Indian Constitution, Schedules are tables which have additional information that is not mentioned in the articles. Our constitution originally had eight shedules. Four more schedules were added after amendments which made it a total tally of twelve. They help explain and organize important stuff beyond what’s in the main part of the Constitution. These Schedules cover components like how many seats each state gets in Parliament, lists of states and union territories, and information about scheduled tribes and castes. So, schedules are like helpful guides that make the big ideas in the Constitution more practical and understandable for running the country.
